Syrian families take shelter in makeshift displacement camps

Syrian families whose homes were destroyed in the deadly earthquakes which struck Syria and neighbouring Turkey on Monday are taking shelter in makeshift displacement camps in the village of Al-Hammam near the border with Turkey.

However, survivors face a secondary disaster, according to the World Health Organization, as the cold and snow contribute to worsening humanitarian conditions.
